Master Man received his powers much in the same way Captain America did by the Nazi's version of the super soldier serum. Master Man's physical capabilities even surpassed Caps, but he was often unstable and sometimes reverted back to his weakened self. Master Man carried out missions for the Nazi's before in his old age died when he took a bullet for the hero Cable.
