    And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.  Not to mention that Carlie's character actually devolved a bit once she became Peter's girlfriend.  I had absolutely NO problem with Peter and Mary Jane being married.  A lot of young couples are married.  I view the whole "marriage makes the characters old and unrelatable" thing as an excuse for writers (and those who direct them) to explain away not being able to write good stories involving married characters.
     
    On a slightly related note, nothing stuck in my craw more about Brand New Day than having the newly single (or whatever the hell) Peter Parker sleep around with his roommate and the Black Cat.  If the entire point of the whole thing was to make Spider-Man and Peter Parker more relatable, having him sleep around like a douchebag is definitely not the correct way to go about it. 
     
    On a final note, F*!K THAT "PARKER LUCK" BULL$#!T.

    Yah, why arent the newer Spider-Man games following continuity? And im glad that MJ and peter arent married.  Im still in high school and I just dont like the Ultimate universe spidey which is more geared toward me, so that leaves me with 616 spidey.  
     
    I like reading aobut the twenty something who has relationships. I wouldnt read spiderman if the marriage was ended by a divorce. That'd be fucking depressing. I do however wish OMD/BND could nave been done a little cleaner, with a new #1 on ala DCnU.  
     
    The strange thing about this game is the voice actors though. regular Spidey is this time voiced by the guy who voiced ultimate spidey in the prevous game (josh keaton). And spidey 2099 is voiced this time by the guy who voiced noir spidey (christopher daniel barnes). So the two other spidermen form shattered dimensions have the voice actors moved to the remaining characters? Strange.

    Keeping up with continuity, Spider-man's timeline has been torn for sometime. But that leaves an open window to interpretation.
    MJ will always and forever be Peter's heart. Even though current story wise its tied up in knots. Who knows things could change.
    As for Carlie, you never know she could show up too in "Edge of Time"
