Stan Lee

He created Mary Jane with John Romita Sr. Originally Stan wanted Mary Jane to only rival Gwen for Peter\'s affection. Stan Lee had no intention of making MJ his wife.

Steve Ditko

Steve Ditko created Mary Jane along with Stan Lee when Spider-Man first started off. Mary Jane\'s face was left a mystery until the Amazing Spider-Man #42. That issue is when they first showed Mary Jane\'s whole body and face.

Todd Mcfarlane
