    A Very Pleasant Surprise! 0

    I picked up the first five issues of this book at my local comic shop recently. The first five issues were sitting in the value rack and priced at $1 apiece. I figured for this price it would be worth a read. I was shocked and amazed at how good this series really is. It follows a photographer named Phil Sheldon and his world view of the Marvel heroes commonly referred to by Phil as the Marvels.
