Just under a year ago, we had a few sneaky peeks at what some classic Marvel heroes would look like in the World of Little Big Planet. But strangely, we didn't hear anything of it since. Now all of a sudden, there's some good news. There's not just 3 heroes... there are 20!

If you've never played Little Big Planet before, the character you control is called Sack Boy. Just as his name suggests, Sack Boy is made of sack cloth. But the fun of Little Big Planet is that you can customise everything... You can make levels, create stickers & change costumes. There have been various downloadable packs with famous character costumes & levels (including Metal Gear Solid, Ghostbusters, Street Fighter & Pirates of the Caribbean to name just a few).

So, who do you get with the Marvel pack?

Captain America, Daredevil, Doctor Octopus, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Green Goblin, Hulk, Invisible Woman, Iron Man, The Human Torch, Magneto, Mystique, The Punisher, Rogue, Spider-Man, Storm, The Thing, Thor, Venom, and of course... Wolverine.

The content will be available for download from Wednesday 07 July, but keep an eye out for more promos & preview art in the meantime!

Little Big Planet is usually in the sale (or reduced). However, these downloadable kits do cost a little bit... Just a couple of quid/bucks :)

awesome! this will be the only downloadable content for Little Big Planet that I'll buy....all the different costumes for the game are great but I'm one of those people that looks at it and thinks "do I really need this to enjoy the game?" and most of the time the answer is "no" but I can't resist Marvel Sack Boys

oh my, well they had shown images of iron man cap and wolverine ages ago but iam intrested to see what they come in. A level pack with characters would be a must have
