I'm a little lost on when Legendary Star-Lord takes place. At first I thought it took place after the movie, but then I remember him mentioning making a deal with Thanos which led me to get pretty lost. What series is this a spinoff/sequel to?
Legendary Star-Lord has nothing to do with the movie. It takes place concurrently with the current Guardians of the Galaxy series. A few movie tie in comics excluded, the Cinematic Universe and the 616 are completely separate.
