    I never thought X-Men could be topped, but Iron Man, Spider-Man and Hulk came out and I was blown away.  Stan Lee deserves a huge chunk of the profits!

    Spider-Man 2 is still the perfect superhero film to me. It has great action, acting, story, and a whole lotta heart. That last bit is what catapults it above almost every other superhero film. It's as colorful and as lively as a good Spider-Man story should be. Characters' motivations are explained cinematically so well it makes us truly care about everyone and everything going on.  
     
    While I know it's not part of the Marvel Universe I have to find a way to throw in Kick-Ass. It is part of their company anyhow and I just love the movie. Kick-Ass is one of the best action movies made in the last ten years. The action crescendos as the story progresses and is there to serve the story too instead of standing around as bits of eye candy. Our hero may be a complete imbecile but he's likable enough to where we want to see him triumph. Also this movie is just funny as heck.  
     
    Blade is a solid film that thumps along nicely. Sadly the horrendous CG work is so distracting it takes me out of the movie. The story wasn't just quite strong enough to let me forgive the distractions completely. I know I'm in the minority but I get a huge guilty pleasure kick out of the Dolph Lundgren Punisher movie. Quit whining about the lack of a skull. That movie is the kind of straight-up 80s action FUN you don't get too often any more.

    I love all three blade movies, so I'll count them as one.  My second favorite has to be Iron Man; I can watch that movie over and over again and never get bored. For my third, I'll have to say the first X-Men, though Cyclops' glasses were the focus of the movie for me, lol.

    i'd have to say the blade films, i mean wes is the one responsible for bringing marvel out of the rut they were in, the spider-man films could have used more action in them( except spider-man 3), now punisher warzone is how the punisher should have been done in the first place, not that i have a problem with thomas or dolph, because i am fans of both of them.

    I have been in a deep depression since noticing no award nominations for this epic tome, much less neither Marvel nor Disney seem
    to acknowledge any connection to the film and give credit where credit is due!!!

    wait, that depression was actually caused by a piece of gum stuck to my shoe (it was cranberry flavored of all things, yuck!), and Spiderbabe
    was terrible...nevermind, forget all that.

    My favorite Marvel vehicle was Transformers The Animated Movie.

    Most of these movies alotta comic fans do not like but to me I say "F" that. As a lover of comics and as a movie buff..I really like these films and I think they stayed more true to the comics than any big budgeted give us your money comic flicks they've been churning out.....I like those flicks also, somewhat, they just arent as good...I know some of those big budgets are in here, but like I said I am a movie buff and I think these too are stand alone movies without having a comic connection. I am glad to see ANY comic movies at all..IMO.
