Silly as this may sound, the X-men need new villains. They do not have an actual nemesis any longer, unless you count Xavier's Legacy (bad move Marvel). Magneto and Sabertooth, probably the highest profile villains they had have joined them (or a version of them), and they fight amongst themselves more than fighting anyone outside.
I never think they are in as bad of shape as others until I start dissecting some of the current status. Sad really.
I'd like Spidey to get a new, wholly original villain (not some new venom, or goblin) that's actually interesting. But I'm sure there are some who deserve a new villain more.
I think just ongoing villains in general. An acolyte return would be welcome or even a group of mutants and humans who unite to destroy them causing them to actually united as a group again. Their main "villians" at the moment seem ti be the Avengers and Shield which is odd. Even other titles are mentioning it now (Loki). Time for heroes to be heroes and villians to be villians in the X-verse again.
