We dont know how many mutants have lived though. There could be more than 500 million and if thats the case then they would win. As long as they use correct tactics and are spread out they have a good chance of winning.
It depends what you mean by "winning". If "conventional" war waged by "ordinary" humans is extraordinarily destructive- then wars waged by super powered individuals would be so extraordinarily(and I suspect prohibitively) destructive that to quote the late Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev on a nuclear exchange -"the living would envy the dead!"- it would be a Pyrrhic victory in the most literal sense of the word!
there wouldn't be much of a victory to whoever won a battle this epic would leave earth unrecognizable and pretty much dead in all aspects but common sense based on comic book fact I would have to give it to the heroes there are more mystics in the superhero side that can defy and negate the mystics and other such mutants I believe even franklin Richards can be defeated by the likes of kang for obvious reasons let alone if we bring molecule man into the equation actually you could pretty much just put the super adaptoid out in front and boom half the mutants force is gone
I'm going to go with the Mutants if it's a totally unprepared type of thing. Like peace one second and war the next. The mutants have a lot of extremely powerful reality warpers and psychics. All it would take is Wanda or someone saying "no more Cap, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, other threats etc." and then it's just a matter of rounding up the normal humans.
But if the both sides were given time to prepare then I don't know what would happen. If you give Reed Richards enough time to think about something, well I wouldn't want to go against him.
Because the government of each country will not hesitate to use nuclear bombs against their own people, and probably kill the families and relatives of mutants, and all this will end in complete hysteria. And finally there will be one million humans left on earth and 10 mutants that have had the clever idea to hide themselves
Sometimes it's not clear cut who's a human or a mutant. For example the Hulk is technically a mutant, since it was his mutant gene that let him metabolize the gamma rays.
The new avengers have stopped the incursions, and they are a mostly non-mutant team, so I think the non-mutants would win... even if it means using the infinity gems! With the genius of Reed Richards, Victor von Doom, Hank Pym, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner, I think they would create a strategy and use all their resources to end up the victors. Plus, S.H.I.E.L.D. has a lot of great leaders, soldiers, and technology that they could give out to all humans to help defeat the mutants.
Nightcrawler teleports boom boom and jubilee to the middle of the non mutants attacking force and they blow stuff up
Scarlet witch and franklin richards make the humans evaporate
The hulks smash everyone
Professor x mind wipes everyone
Thor destroys everything with odinforce
Molecule man and sentry destroy the mutants
And finally galactus come he gets destroyed with the ultimate nullifer the living tribunal restores galactus and together they destroy earth -616 for good so no one wins
