    I'm at my LCS last night picking up my weekly stash of comics. I've been an avid follower of the Incredible Hulks book and flip open the comic to check out the summary page. There's a big tag line that says "YOU MUST READ CHAOS WAR #5 BEFORE BUYING THIS COMIC!!"  
     
    What to do? What to do? I haven't been following it and with such a proclamation I felt compelled to buy it. Well, my LCS was out of it so I went to the other comic shop across the street. They still had a few copies so getting it wans't any problem at all. After that, I'm eager to get home and see what fate has befallen my favorite gamma powered family in this issue.  
     
    Here's a major spoiler:

    Nothing happens to the Hulks! Absolutely nothing happens that I would have missed by saving myself another $3.99 and skipping Chaos War.

    LMAO I guess I could have said I did get an issue of Batman: The Return #1 that I didn't previously have. It wasn't a total loss. :P (My regular LCS was out of it)

    Before you buy ANY, ANY more comics. You MUST, send me $200 dollars and an ice cream maker and a bread maker, and a Dead Like Me DVD box and a Boston Legal Box set. Oh and some lego box sets, your choice. I like lego.  
     
    lol, yea, that sucks man. I hate when Marvel traps you like that. Honestly, I just ignore that stuff and read spoilers online, and then decide.

    I actually only read the 1st and last issues so I can't really comment on the quality of the overall series.

    Yeah, yeah, yeah. I actually appreciated the fact they did it but it was for no reason. 
     
    I wasn't at my regular shop so I didn't flip through the comic. The guy there isn't quite as friendly as the guys at my regular shop.

    I woulda just looked through it in the store looking for appearances from the Hulk. That being said I think he was only in one panel. That sucks dude.

    For some reason, I think that if his Hollywood connections dry up, and he can't make comics for movie scripts, he will start spearheading the whole comics into live action porn market.

    Shouldn't have listened. Usually those warnings are for people who are buying the other book so they don't spoil themselves, I don't think it was Marvel trying to do you over.

    I see this happening soon, very very soon. Don't get me wrong I'm kind of happy for him for becoming the comics to Hollywood golden boy Frank Miller tried to be 3 years ago. But his star is going fizzle somewhere around the failed Superior film.

    You misunderstood, this message wasn't for Hulks fan but for Chaos War reader, that issue was full of spoilers regarding Chaos War, so they warned people to read Chaos War before Hulks to not ruin the suprise.
