What characters in the Marvel Universe do you consider clearly above The Silver Surfer, but clearly below characters like Zeus and Odin? Thanos is usually used as the classic example of this, but there have to be other characters in the MU.

How about Immortus? He's not much of a combat character, but his implied power is insane. Quasar had to appeal to Immortus to get out of this situation. He's sort of like a technology based Skyfather though.
