what is stronger captain america's sheild or adamantium.
Captain America's shield is made of vibranium. Vibranium > adamantium.
Actually the shield is made from an alloy with vibranium.
And in most circumstances Adamantium is far superior to normal vibranium.
Vibranium can be bent or broken. True Adamantium can't.

I thought I read somewhere that the shield is a vibranium/adamantium alloy, but I could be mistaken.
Adamantium wasn't invented until after Cap's shield was made. The alloy in Cap's shield is bonded to vibranium while adamantium is the closest they've ever got in recreating the alloy in Cap's shield.I thought I read somewhere that the shield is a vibranium/adamantium alloy, but I could be mistaken.
