Well, for any doubters (or those like me who just hoped otherwise), Brudder Voodoo really is the new Sorcerer Supreme.  An interview with Brian Michael Bendis talks at length about it. 

And what's more, he's going to get his own series: Doctor Voodoo.

Everytime I see that name it makes me think of Doctor Who :p

I'm cool with Brother Voodoo being Sorcercer Supreme too atm but we did see that one issue where Dr. Doom and Norman osborn were holding a conference in the future and Dr. Doom had that stylish new Hood he stole from... the hood who might of stolen it from... Brother voodoo.

Obviously there will always only be 1 Sorceror Supreme in my mind no matter what Marvel does.However out of all the characters that could have been chosen I am glad it was someone as neutral as Brother Voodoo and the more I think about the change the more I begin to like the idea of him being more prominent but still my first statement stands.

Everyone makes mistakes--it is rong of Strange to insist he can be pure.  He should just say OK, I screwed up, I can never atone for what I did, but that doesn't mean I have to go off and sulk and quit my job.  Strange should have stayed Sorcerer Supreme.
However, seeing as he left, I would have liked Wiccan or Loki to be SS.

The reason he is almost immortal is not because he's SS.  
He past Death(or was it Eternity)'s test before he became SS. I think he was probably 43~44 when he stopped aging.  >_o
 
  
I don't mind Voodoo being SS if they do it right., bus sadly they turned this cool part of SS to lame and ordinary 'Chosen who has pure heart and potentials'  things. 
Come on, choosing the protector of world by potentials and nice heart is like making a baby ride a jet because the baby's IQ is 150.
 
SS is real job, you don't prove you have potentials. You gotta have the raw power and true skills you can play right out in seconds.

he had it. and turned it down because he found out he didnt want it.  not sure i get the Voodoo spite here. Voodoo was always considered next up for this title, so they choice made sense. his stories have always been rich. his current series as SS is great. is there something about Voodoo's books that didnt work in particular with anyone? im just kind of lost on this one. "
