Am I the only one who is saddened by Marvel suddenly replacing well-liked 616 heroes with newly created versions? It's bad enough that the original Nick Fury has been almost completly replaced by the Ultimate version in all recent TV shows but now it looks like the spymaster will be stepping aside for his son Marcus Johnson, a character with no intelligence background whatsoever. Then the appearance of a new Nova (Sam Alexander) and the new White Tiger (Ava Ayala) with no clues given as to the whereabouts of the previous White Tiger (Angela Del Toro) I know the new Nova and WT were created for the new Spider-Man cartoon and are now being introduced into the comics to connect the two, I just don't understand why they needed to do this with already established characters using these identities.

Yeah I hate the stupid Samuel Jackson model. If they wanted a Samuel Jackson clone in the comics they could have just made a new spy character and worked him into the story. They could have even made him a mutant version of nick furry and gave him the ability to turn into metal and named him 'Nick L Furry' .... Get it..
