I am a long time DC comics reader and i was looking to add some Marvel to my list and hoping for some suggestions i was thinking about Uncanny X-men(yes/no?) and thanks in advance.

Deadpool is great, and Spiderman is as well. Start reading Spiderman on The Amazing Spiderman #1. Jump in on the next Deadpool arc.

Check out Marvel NOW! man. Some of the stuff from there that I am enjoying includes Thor: God of Thunder, New Avengers, Avengers, Hawkeye, Daredevil, Savage Wolverine, Uncanny Avengers, and Indestructibe Hulk.

Hell naw. There are so many better Marvel stories out there. The Gorr arc was pretty good, but far from a masterpiece. It doesn't deserve all the hype it gets IMO. Not to mention that the rest of the series has been far from great.

Thor: God of Thunder, Ultimate Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Daredevil, Deadpool, and Black Widow are all very much worth reading.
