Which books are getting canceled again?

It's defiantly not fair that the FF are losing their series.

well it's not "Marvel", it's Disney, which owns Marvel (or should that be 'pwned' Marvel?). And Lucas sold out to Disney. So frankly many of us expected this to happen.

I don't think these books are getting cancelled just because of Star Wars. And I'm not at all surprised Nightcrawler lasted less than a year.

If these were viable, strong selling titles it may be a little suspect but current state...no. Claremont and his brashness put the period on his own series. Even though sales slumped, his mouth at conventions and interviews assured they were not going to keep his title around, especially if they could justify the end of the title due to a finishing storyline along with declining sales.

Secret Avengers currently has a team comprised of Avengers Movie characters and television characters so if any would be left to flounder in low sales this would be one title they would allow.

There is no conspiracy, just a lack of care if certain properties cannibalize themselves. They will never get rid of something completely, even if they do not have the movie rights, a languishing X-title can be cancelled and relaunched to higher comic sales (which they wholly profit on)...this trend does not always hold in the house of X though, especially lately.

I'm very mixed to be honest.

I can see why Marvel would want to cancel some of their titles (*cough* Fantastic Four *cough*) but there are some titles that deserve to go on longer.

I think cancelling a very low selling book to make for A Star Wars comic is fair. Though I really don't think cancelling books about characters that really have shaped the Marvel universe almost more than anyone other character or team is fair (cough cough Fantastic Four cough cough cough). I do think if they were going to cancel some books they should've cancelled books that just extend the stories. Like the multiple Avengers or multiple X-Men books. It would've gave more room for Star Wars and the other Marvel characters and teams plus it would be less confusing for new readers. I'm not even a new reader and I get confused about which X-Men or Avengers book really matter. I can only imagine what it is like for the new readers.

I dont think the FF cancellation will last. I smell funny business.

I doubt that's the reason.

I have to go through the Nightcrawler book to see what happened. For other reasons that have been solved, I had to miss out on a lot of stuff.
