I have been an avid reader of DC comics and I strongly stand by them when compared to Marvel, however I noticed, when I was at Space Con, that a lot of the vendors had many more Marvel comics than they did DC; easily 5:1 ratio. For this reason, and this reason alone, I am intrigued by Marvel. Bad news is, I have no experience with Marvel and have no idea what is going on or where to start. Any help would be appreciated. I would suggest 80's then 90's X-Men, Spider-Man off course, I could just keep reeling of titles but its all up to personal taste.
