Just announced is the new "Guardians 3000" series, written by Dan Abnett, following the adventures of the original GotG from the future. What do you guys think about it?

I'm super on board with this, especially with Abnett writing (wish there hadn't been a falling out or whatever between him and Andy Lanning). But ughhh, Marvel's oversaturating with GOTG stuff. We've got GOTG proper, Rocket Raccoon, Legendary Star Lord, and now this.

I'm all for expanding Marvel's cosmic universe again, but there's more to it than just GOTG, and this is pretty clearly to amp comic sales in association with the movie, which is a necessary evil, but still kinda annoying nonetheless.

The art style is similar to the current Spiderman title.

I wonder will Protege reappear? :P

This looks promising and I like the team behind it too.

I don't like any of the characters really. Would have much rathered they came out with more solo books then write about some team in the far future.
