    Hey folks,

first of all, sorry for my bad english.Secondly if you wanna skip the intro, just go to the ****** sign ;)

I'm not entierly new to comics, but I never accually read Marvel, because I was worried I could miss something. Now with Marvel Unlimited it's my chance to start from the beginning.

I really dislike the style before the 70's, so I decided to start with the Phoenix Saga.

Now I created a reading order for me with all Crossovers and the most important story arcs of the X-Men. A thread in this forum helped me doing that.

I think I should focus on a few series, otherwise I'm never gonna start reading and just writting the list.

But if there are stories I MUST read from different series, just tell me :)

I googled a lot, but could actually just find good information for X-Men comics.

    ***************************************

So what (major) storys arcs, before 2000, would you recommend for:

    Avengers

    Fantastic Four

Spiderman - okay looks like I've got a list here, but its hard to differentiate which are essential

    Hulk

    (Maybe Thor and Ironman)

I don't think there will be as much as for the X-Men. And I don't mean crossovers, I have these already from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publication_history_of_Marvel_Comics_crossover_events

Thanks a lot for your efforts :)

    Best regards,

    Korbi

    Edit:

Do I miss things for Spiderman?

The Death of Gwen Stacy (issues 121-122
If This Be My Destiny (issues 31-33)
    Spider-Man No More (issue 50
    Juggernaut (issues 229-230).
    Kravens last HUNT
    (Web of Spider-Man #31-32, The Amazing Spider-Man #293-294, and The Spectacular Spider-Man #131-132)

One of my favorite comic book runs of all time is Kurt Busiek's 1990's Avengers run. I cannot express how much I recommend reading this.

Maybe it will be a bit much if I read every major twist in every series, so I will stick with Spidey, X-Men and the crossovers until the big reboot with Marvel Now an begin to read all the different series from there.

And search for a few must read comics in the different series. But if someone wanna see the order he can do that here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2jxP5zbRSdAZEFudkdfcjN1RzA/edit?usp=sharing
