Marvel's worst papa
who in your opinion is the WORST dad in marvel comics? in my opinion is cyplops the ultimate dadbeat dad.
I can't believe nobody mentioned Norman Osborn yet! He got his son, Harry, to become a goblin. Also both of his kids from Gwen (what were the writers thinking, couldn't they come up with something better?) were lied to and trained to kill Spiderman. Deadbeat dads are horrible, but fathers who use their kids are much, much worse.
How about the man who ran out on his wife and baby son to hang out with his recently resurrected dead-girlfriend:
"who in your opinion is the WORST dad in marvel comics? in my opinion is cyplops the ultimate dadbeat dad. "
Why? He only sent Cable into the futue to save his life, and then he was really caring and nice to him when he came back, helpign him first when on the psychic plane after Apocalypse captured them, and then later by forming X-Force to help out in Messiah War.

"Norman Osborn. In addition to points already made, he impregnates his son's former girlfriend in order to convince a rehabilitated Harry to get all 'roided up to become a "superhero". Granted, it didn't quite work out, but still. "
Yup, that was pretty nasty. Also, when Harry was all schizo in bed after tripping on LSD because Norman ignored him, his dad kicked out all his friends even though the doctor said that would help.
Carnage is pretty nasty too. He was so disgusted at the thought of having a son, he went tried to keep him from coming out (yuck!), and then tried to eat him. It didn't stop there. He devoted half his life to trying to munch his up his son. DCFS would have something to say there. At least Norms didn't serve Harry for dinner.
I do agree though Ares is a D-Bag.
I am pretty sure Stark has some illegitimate kids running wild all over the world.
I guess a better question would be who is Marvel's best dad, nearly every dad that comes to mind is bad.
" @CATMANEXE: Did a jock D-Bag wrong you in a past life Catman :) I do agree though Ares is a D-Bag. I am pretty sure Stark has some illegitimate kids running wild all over the world. "He probably does, but his kid will probably end up like Daken or something

" @box turtle: LOL good point, I guess you could add Venom to that to who sucks at being a father and a Grandfather "
Well, I wouldn't blame him to much. I mean, the first thing his son did was try to kill him. In fact, the only time his son took a break from trying to kill him was to eat other people. Then again, Venom didn't set a great example.

Um, I know it might have seemed rude to say Cable wasn't saving Hope, but if it wasn't for X-Force coming in, Bishop and Stryfe would have killed her.
