@cable_extreme: Haha, Ultimate Wolverine for the win.
I agree that Logan's life isn't what would give him a skill advantage. Iron Fist isn't nearly as old as James and he is superiorly skilled when you look at his feats and level of training. I was just noting that Black Panther's training history and expounding on his level of training (Which is an important factor when people compare comic character's skill.) is severely lacking in comparison to Wolverine.
What makes you think Black Panther is lacking in the training department?
The expounding on it in comparison to Wolverine is quite lacking.
What does Wolverine have in his training arsenal that outshines Black Panther so much?
He's been shown learning 18 forms of Kung Fu under master Po, trained for years under the level 7/7 fighter Ogun learning kenjutsu, aikodo, buijuitsu, etc., has been trained twice by Stick, the highly skilled Hand leader and the man who trained Daredevil (One of the Marvel universe's best fighters), been extensively trained again in kenjutsu by Silver Samurai (A guy who is arguably the best swordsmen in Marvel), been trained by Weapon X, etc.
Black Panther in comparison has mostly vague descriptions of things like having mastered the art of deadly combat by time he was six, being trained by Wakandan royalty, etc.
I'm not saying that Wolverine's training "outshines" T'Challa's in terms of quality, but in terms of it how clearly it has been expounded on, Logan blows out Black Panther quite succinctly.
