Marvel Movie?

Anyone else think that maybe a whole movie based on the Revolution in the Marvel comics would make a bad ass movie?

No... would that mean they'd have to do House of M? Please no...

Personnaly, I really appreciate Marvel comics, but I never appreciate any Marvel Movie. Most of them are bad movies but funny too.

I love the Xmen movies. But then I do think Hugh Jackman is a killer Wolverine! Love that guy. Plus Sir Ian McKellan and Patrick Stuart are gods of acting (says she who's going to be in Stratford upon Avon next weekend to see Sir Ian play King Lear, the most demanding role in all of acting).

I guess you haven't seen any of the ones since 1997 when they started putting out good ones. Blade, X-Men, Spider-Man, Punisher, Fantastic Four, and to a lesser extent Daredevil and Elektra have all been pretty good imo. The only one they have really messed up lately was the Hulk. An hour of background story before actually seeing the Hulk and then a villain made specifically for the movie as far as I can tell. (He was like the Absorbing Man, but not Crusher Creel). As far as making a Revolution movie, two hours might not be enough time to tell it well. mayve a trilogy of moives?

I saw :

  • The Punisher (1989)

  • Blade (1998)

  • X-Men (2000)

  • Blade II (2002)

  • Spider-Man (2002)

  • Daredevil (2003)

  • X-Men 2 (2003)

  • Hulk (2003)

  • Spider-Man 2 (2004)

  • Blade: Trinity (2004)

  • Elektra (2005)

  • Fantastic Four (2005)

  • X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

  • Ghost Rider (2007)

Marvel movies have :

  • good directors

  • good castings (except The Punisher (1989))

  • emblematic villains

But Marvel movies have not :

  • emblematic stories.

It exists a lot of emblamatic stories for each character. (Like Loeb/Sale comics)

But no one has been used for Marvel movies.

I loved both Spidey movies, the X-movies, and most of the rest weren't so great.

I mean I would like to see a whole movie based on the superhero revolution, that results in Ironman and Captain America conflict and also leads to Captain America's death.

I don't know, I'm not sure people outside the comic community would pay to see it

How many people do you think would go see "The Infinity Gauntlet" the movie? I'd love it, but I don't know how many outside the comic world would care about it.

Well I think the topic of the storyline would catch a lot of people's attention inside and out of the comic community. Than again there is nothing more embarrassing than watching a man in captain america tights, I think that kinda thing only works out in animation. But you're right I guess no one would really understand what's going on unless they read the comics.

It would awesome, in my opinion, if they made a movie on the civil war crossover. There lots of heroes and they could flesh out the storyline a little more. Plus the fights should really thrilling.
