Last week saw the daily announcements of the last 5 Marvel themed Little Big Planet costumes. It's been nearly 2 months since Marvel first announced their plans to release 20 Sack Boy outfits based on some of their most popular characters. Slowly, they released info & art of all the characters in batches of 5. At long last, all 20 have been announced and the final 5 are available to buy.

Each costume kit has 5 characters in it:

Costume Pack 1 contained Daredevil, Doctor Octopus, Iron Man, Mystique & Thing.
Costume Pack 2 featured Elektra, Ghost Rider, Human Torch, Spider-Man & Thor.
Costume Pack 3 starred Captain America, Invisible Woman, Rogue, Venom & Wolverine.
Costume Pack 4 delivers Green Goblin, Hulk, Magneto, Punisher & Storm.

All Sack Boy costumes are compatible with both the upcoming Little Big Planet 2 and the original Little Big Planet. If you don't want to buy all 5 characters, then worry not! You can purchase each character costume individually. However, the magic about Little Big Planet is that you can customise to your heart's content. Each costume has several different components so you can mix & match the look of your Sack Boy. Just think of all the different combinations you can create using all 20 costumes!

All these costume packs SHOULD carry over to Little Big Planet 2... correct?

Smaller question: Think Sony will put all those costume packs together as a big all-bundle pack?

Hulk-Sack alone is worth it.

@Jordanstine: Yes, absolutely! All Sack Boy costumes are compatible on both the original Little Big Planet & this autumn's sequel :)

As for a giant pack of 20? I don't know. Personally I'd like that when I eventually get Little Big Planet 2.

@Thunderscream: The zipper is part of Sack Boy's basic skin. Some of the Marvel costumes have just a patterened 'skin', while others are accessories that are worn over the skin.

@.Mistress Redhead.: I love his ickle helmet! And no, that's not innuendo for anything ;)

I look forward to chucking little pumpkin bombs!!

I agree with Sora_thekey i want these as pulshies. It's too bad this is the last bundle because i was looking forward for more sets. I guess i'll install all of them eventrully. Once i get my ps3 and stuff.

Yeah, it's surprising that you can't get them as cuddly toys. There is an array of Sack Boy merchandise, but disappointingly they're all solid plastic.

To be honest, I'm amazed that Disney/Marvel & Sony have collaborated together long enough to create these. Lets hope that Disney's merchandising department recognises this potential little gold mine & digs a little deeper to give us the goods we want. I'd just snuggle li'l Thor all night long (even if he hasn't got a beard :)
