Now that Phase 1 has culminated with The Avengers, and Phase 2 is currently being worked on - is there anything new that they can bring to the movies? Or are we destined to watch more of the same each holiday? Are they able to keep up quality while keeping the universe coherent?

I really hope so. It isn't impossible, but they will need to continue to hire great directors and actors to keep the movie universe entertaining. Once Iron Man 3 comes out, I think we'll know how the rest of the phase will go.
