With over 12 Limited runs out and dozens of ongoing's plus new ones added to the stack in the last few weeks, is Marvel putting out to many comics? I'm being forced to drop the Mini's and haven't been able to pick up the TPB's from the last few weeks that I want, as my friends all know, I only read Marvel, so buying most everything from them is the norm for me. But now that they're forcing me to drop titles, I have to wonder, how do those who read from other publishers feel about this?

Most everything being put out right now is a fun read, but with so much out there from Marvel right now, when is it too much?

I think the that it looks like alot compared to other companies like DC but the thing is DC is putting out just as many titles only they're under different company names like Vertigo and Wildstorm

@danhimself: Even so, if you look at the list from week to week Marvel has quite a bit more then everyone else. Just this week 41 titles came out from Marvel!

Simple solution: Just pick good material, buying all the comics of marvel you can get is bad for your money (especially at these times) and encourages Marvel to keep selling anything they have in mind, no matter the quality because the sales are still there.

That goes for DC, Image, Darkhorse, etc. too

I think the thing to do to save your bank account is just to pick for favorite 3 or 4 sets and stick with that, instead of buying everything. That's what I do. I've only got a couple titles that I buy. I guess what Marvel is trying to do is find something for everyone, catering to a variety of tastes.

I have the buying under complete control, this is more about your view on the market and runs then about advice for me. I could pick up every books every week. (which I almost would do) But I focus on Avengers, Iron Man, War of Kings, and X-Titles.

But How do you guys and girls feel about Marvel flooding the market right now?

Marvel's doing very good here in France, so the "flooding the market" right now is pretty much a good thing.
