So yeah I've been reading mostly DC for the past two years with very little Marvel, and I'd like some recommendations. What current titles are the best in your opinions?

Mighty Avengers has been pretty good so far... X-Men Legacy was fantastic. Ms. Marvel and Loki: Agent of Asgard just started this week, those were pretty good...

    Actually, y'know what?

Wait a couple months before getting into Marvel. April's going to be big with a bunch of brand new comic series, Peter Parker's going to be coming back, Nightcrawler's getting an ongoing... Wait til April, jump in then.

Kind of depends on what you're looking for really.

If you're looking for more "traditional" superhero stuff: Most of the X-Men books, Mighty Avengers, Superior Spider-Man (although you should wait for the relaunch in April), Hulk, Captain Marvel (also to be relaunched) and Iron Man. There's some more, but probably not worth mentioning.

Ms. Marvel and Nova are the fun teenage superhero books. Wolverine and the X-Men is getting relaunched, but the previous volume also falls into here.

Thor God of Thunder is more mythological.

Black Widow is, as you would expect, a spy book.

Hickman's three Avengers book are more sci-fi focused, and he's a big picture writer with a lot of moving part, so unless you were there since issue 1, you'll be lost.

Uncanny Avengers and Captain America for your dark and serious stuff.

Hawkeye, Deadpool, Loki: Agent of Asgard, and Superior Foes of Spider-Man are all a little left of centre. They're unique books that make it hard to put into a category. Humor is a big part of each of them. Doop is also somehow getting a book later this year, which if you look up the character, it will boggle the mind.

Also Daredevil, which is getting relaunched as he moves to the West Coast.

There's more new books coming this year such as Moon Knight, Captain Marvel, Iron Fist, Magneto, Elektra, Nightcrawler, Silver Surfer, Inhuman, She-Hulk and the aforementioned Doop. They're all unknown quantities at the moment.

It's a nice diversity, but might be a little hard to find a jumping on point outside of the new books. Then again you can pick a lot of the back issues digitally on the cheap. If you've been reading DC and want a little different, highly recommend Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Superior Foes of Spider-Man, Loki and Black Widow. Ms. Marvel, Loki and Black Widow just launched so you can start at the beginning. Then Daredevil when it gets relaunched so you can start from a new arc. Another book that recently ended that you might want to look into is Young Avengers.
