Formerly known by names including "Atlas" and "Timely", Marvel Entertainment is the publisher of comic books featuring iconic characters and teams such as the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the Avengers, the X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Daredevil. Currently owned by the Walt Disney Company, Marvel is one of the "Big Two" comic publishers along with DC Comics.
Although in real life the same surname doesn't mean that someone is related, life is a lot more simpler in comics. I don't believe anything has been stated to say that there's any relation. I hope they're not & that it's just a quirky coincedence.
In comics, having the same last name usually makes you distantly related. I remember when all of a sudden Roy Harper and Guardian were revealed to be like distant cousins or something. Since Bishop is from the future it's possible that Kate Bishop and Elijah Bradley are his ancestors, but their child has Kate's name for whatever reason. But we can't know that until the story has been written.
