    Could someone explain to me if there's a difference between these two trades? Are they both covering the same story arc or are they different stories / collections?

    One is described as WWH 1 - 5 and the other is a collection of Incredible hulk issues. I would like to read this event but now I am confused as to which of these is the actual event.

    @beoftw: Planet Hulk is the prelude to World War Hulk, which was an event miniseries.

    Planet hulk leads up to world war hulk, which in turn is a separate event consisting of 5 issues. Though the Incredible Hulk series does keep up the filler issues for WWH

    That sounds about right.

    @flameboy298:

    Get both of them if you want to read Hulk..personally I think Planet Hulk is the better book. Its different, its quite sad... However you really DO want to see Hulk in action in WWH too!

    I think I read WWH. I did not read Planet Hulk, but I saw the movie.
