Can this game just come out next week? I can’t imagine how it’ll need more than year of testing to perfect things, because MARVEL VS. CACPOM 3 looks good to go already. Marvel’s released two trailers and quite a few screenshots so far, but now we’ve got no less than two videos showing some fast, frenetic , furious and fantastic gameplay. Before we get to those, I’ll direct your attention to this image to the right, which was the official SECRET WARS-style t-shirt design Capcom was handing out at E3 last week (and, incidentally, this game absolutely cleaned up at the expo’s awards.)  It’s the first promo art I’ve seen that’s confirmed Deadpool and DEVIL MAY CRY’s Dante, but it’s still keeping at least six additional characters in silhouette.

Obviously, that’s Super Skrull’s signature outline lurking to the left of Ryu, and Chun-Li’s distinctive profile to the right of Iron Man. Your guess is as good as mine as to who the collar-sporting dude right above Cap’s shield and the bald guy next to Deadpool are. I’m going to bet that Dr. Doom’s standing right behind Super Skrull, but I’m not positive. There’s also some tall, flame-covered individual lurking behind the logo. The most obvious candidate is Blackheart, but it could also be Ghost Rider or, given how game bosses tend to lurk in the background like that, possibly the Sentry/ Void since a lot of you speculated that was him coming out of the vortex at the end of the last trailer. == TEASER ==

Anyway, here are the videos. The first shows some three-on-three tag combat as Cap, Deadpool and Wolverine take on Dante, Ryu and Chris Reddfield. LIVE AND LET DIE! 

This second one swaps in the Hulk for Wolverine and is featured at a more Capcom-focused level.   My concerns about the gameplay being slower because of the 3D models have been swiftly eradicated by these. If anything, the pace is even MORE insane than MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2's was.

This looks like a great game. Can't wait for it.

The Flaming Head Guy is named Dormammu.  Which is the reason why there is a rumor that Doc Strange is in the game.  =)

I don't care for Captain America's voice, but otherwise it looks truly awesome.

Really looking forward to this game, as I've loved all the previous installments.  I wonder though, will Dante be as overpowered as Cable was ?

i demand poison be a playable character!!!! cause i wanna beat iron man up with a tranny!

I think it would fit better to have the new Cap look on the game although it would change his game mechanics as Bucky fires guns and Steve generally doesn't.

I've got to say, the drawn 2D aesthetic of MvC2 is worlds better. This reminds me of Tekken, when they were trying to make graphics look "edgy" -- I won't write this game off completely yet,  but I'm really not impressed.
 
I should also state I liked the earlier trailers. The graphics were good in pre-rendered cinematics. But this gameplay footage really doesn't feel right.

I played a bunch of this at E3.  Pretty fun -- definitely feels and plays like a Marvel vs. Capcom game. 
 
The 3D'ish graphics looks great, but the gameplay works really well on a 2d level because the fights are kind of meant to be taken in the air with crazy combos and stuff.  
 
Its not a game meant for sidestepping and circular areans.
 
Characters like Chris Redfield and Deadpool were really fun additions to the cast as well.

I heard that she hulk is in this game and got really excited to finally play as an actual playable character is that true? I wont get this if she hulk is not included in this game. I want to play her so bad.

Man, the MT Framework engine holds up great.  I was also worried about the frame rate and such, but that's pretty impressive.

OH S*IT DID ANYONE SEE WHAT DANTE DID. THAT NIGGA IS BAD ASS. I AM TOTALLY GETTING THIS GAME.!!!!! SOLD!!!!!

That was so cool. Dante's got Cerberus, all his styles, and his demon form. Makes me so happy. Deadpool's got his teleporter, the combos look sweet, the tag team finishers look amazing. Yeah, this is definitely a must get.
