" @DEADPOOL:  it makes sense for Galactus, since he is actually some kind of energy form, but Surfer isnt (still kind of weird that theyre teeth could chew him though, he also isnt supposed to be flesh anywhere in his body). then again its an alternate reality so they can pull the " not the same as the 616 version " card and say it works. i dunno. true enough its hard to even rate MZ to anyone because the volumes are so different. Man-Thing wasnt infected either (mystical), and the LOM managed to make a sort of working vaccine. comics i guess, try and figure out the logic sometimes, especially between different writers and your head splode.  BTW: did you happen to get to read the Zombies/Apes cross-over? "
Yeah, underneath his power-regulating armor Galactus is actually a sentient star but species perceive him to look like them. Silver Surfer is supposed to be a metallic shell that houses cosmic energy. The fact that he's metal means that the zombies shouldn't had been able to eat him any more than they could eat a car. And I think that Man-Thing is a plant has something to do with it.

No, I didn't get it. Maybe I should had, I still probably can, I just thought the idea of Marvel Apes was silly. Was it good? Should I get it?

    @DEADPOOL:
i just go by what shown on panel, so i take it down like this.
Galactus Eath-2149 and Silver Surfer 2149 could be eaten by the zombies as they were different
than theyre 616 counterparts. given the 616 versions of Uatu, Sandman, Jocosta, and Machine Man
could not be infected, it is likely that the 616 versions of Surfer and Galactus could not be as well
(on panel it is stated that the 616 version of Galan is the only one like him, and he is the most powerful of all versions in the multiverse). Man-Thing was immune do to the fact that he is actually a quasimystical entity attached to the Nexus Of All Realities.

i read this one, as a fan of zombies i thought it was well worth my time.

I suppose that Zombiverse Galactus may had been flesh and blood, but zombies like Iron Man were breaking their teeth trying to bite Silver Surfer one moment, and then chewing on him liek taffy the next... does not compute, lol.  Although I wonder why Galactus didn't return as a zombie? He was still alive when they were eating him. At any rate, the "cosmic zombies" was silly to me.
The Zombiverse characters seemed to be pretty weak anyway, compared to the 616 universe; this is particularly shown when Ultimate Thing knocks out Zombie Hulk, Ultimate Thing officially being able to lift 16 tons (according to an issue of Wizard when they were interviewing the creators of the Ultimate universe). The Zombieverse appeared to be based on 60's Marvel and back then Thing could only lift 5 tons and Spider-Man could only lift 2 tons, so our Wolverine, Deadpool, Thor, etc. might be immune to the virus or what not.
And the virus cloud that was raining down on the land, it was making the plant-life crumble, and that's what it did to Man-Thing when he was separated from the ground (which he was using to replenish himself). So Man-Thing can't be turned into a zombie, and that makes sense too because Morbius said the zombie virus roots itself into the host's bone marrow, which Man-Thing doesn't have since he's composed of plants (and why Sandman couldn't get infected).

Hmm, I'll have to consider it then.

Wasn't Aquarian immune to the virus, or at least able to cure it in himself?
Also, how about Madcap.  He could be an answer to the feeding problem, cuz he can not only reattach limbs, but regenerate them instantly, and even regenerate from brain injury and being turned to individual molecules.
The high evolutionary can become pure mental energy.
Juggernaut is covered in an impenetrable force field surrounding his entire body.
Cloak is just some sort of sentient dark energy.  Not sure about dagger.
Wonderman and Captain Atom are just shells for different energies too.
    Mister Impossible.

also I dont think the celestials would affect either (zombies devoured galactus thou) . If Franklin Richards would have manifested his mutant powers he would survive too.

I would suspect other undead would be immune, as a lack of blood flow tends to do that.

So, Hannibal King, Dracula, Morbius, Frankenstein, the Zombie (since, y'know), maybe Blade, and any ghosts that there are... I can't really name any marvel based ghosts.

Also, there's Klaw, the Shadow King, Nightmare, and this one demon guy who could swap out body parts, I forget his name.
