    The Old Order Changeth...!

There are two stories in this issue...
The first involves the Squadettes, which is Tigra, She-Hulk and Wasp.  They are out to make a name for themselves, since it seems the Squaddies seem to get all the praise and nobody knows who they are.  They intercept a broadcast from some Toad Men that they plan to capture they Hulk and take him back to their home planet to compete in some sort of competition.  Sounded like some sort of Gladiator gig to me.  Of course my son found Hulk very funny.  He seem to laugh out loud whenever Hulk says anything.  This time it was pretty funny... he's watching cartoons and really doesn't like to get interrupted.  It was a good little story and good for my son to see the strong female characters working together here.
The second story I really liked.  It was a play off of the "Magnificent Seven" movie.  What a great job they did here.  My son didn't realize he was getting a lesson in classic movies as well.  It was changed just enough, but it was a total rip off and I loved it.  They characters played their parts, just like in the movie.  With of course, some funny scenes as well.  I liked the part when they are going to have a feast and Hulk is all geared up to eat a truck load.  Wolverine tells him that it's all the people have and Hulk decides to let the kids eat and instead.  What a nice scene and a good thing for my son to see.  Take care of others who don't have as much as you.  Be willing to be compassionate.  I liked that.
This second story is a gem.  Make sure you pick up a copy of this issue... it's worth it.  "The Squaddie Seven!"
My son gave it a 5 (and deservedly so)
