Why are bulk of heroes American? I know most comics take place in America so that's who we generally see. But even in Alpha Flight they fought a lot of American villains. The same with DC, back in the days of Justice League Europe they used mostly American characters(Flash, Capt. Atom, Elongated Man, etc).
