It was 1961, out of the fertile imaginations of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko and others emerged the Marvel Age. First came the Fantastic Four, soon to be followed by the Amazing Spider-Man, the Mighty Thor, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, Iron Man, and the Uncanny X-Men. These were Marvel's heroes, stalwart and true, ready to face any and all threats to mankind. Marvel Masterworks were created to give fans a chance to experience this phenomenon from the beginning. Includes never-before reprinted pinups, and fully recolored to match the original issues.
