How about restarting the X-men but including them in the same universe, it hasn't been too long since the main films came out to get most of the cast back. They could do the Fantastic Four again but obviously they'd need to get a new actor for the flaming torch.

Spiderman and doctor strange are suspected to be included as well.

What I'm saying is would you guys like to see the entire Marvel universe on film in the same universe, not just the Avenger characters?

The rights to the X-Men Spider-Man and others are owned by Fox and Sony.

Yea but the producers of Spiderman said they wouldn't mind working out a deal to get Spiderman in the MCU. I'm sure they could work somthing out with the X-men which would gain a significant boost at the box offices if they shared universes with Avengers and Spiderman.

@Jnr6Lil: Perhaps not. But would it be a problem to take the old films into the new universe? As far as I see it there wouldn't.

Strongly disagree. The X-Men deserve a better adaptation, maybe not now, but within the next ten years I hope we will see the franchise re-adapted right.

Sorry, but Fox and Sony are all about money - so we won't be seeing them in the MCU until another 50 reboots of X-Men and Spider-Man are made, so...

I think their movie adaptations were pretty good. Sure I might didn't like some things in the third movie but it was still a nice one.

But I don't think I would like to see them in the MCU. Although I would like to see Spider-Man in it.

Spider-man is a possibility as the companies have expressed interest in coming to a deal (Sony obviously wants a piece of the Avenger pie and Marvel want their most popular character back). Fox isn't giving up the X-men anytime soon though! Damn you Fox *shakes fist* Although I would completely forgive Fox if they do make that Deadpool solo Movie.

If Fox and Sony are Smart enough, they would agree to share their respective characters with Marvel Studio. This would obviously boost their box office due to current trend.

They can just put cameo for Spiderman or Fantastic 4 in Marvel Phase 2 ( I would't include X-men as it's too big of a team to be included in, they can do their own storyline ) Then maybe after Avengers 2 , they can include Spiderman and others heroes to make a Civil War storyline would be nice.

I don't think that the other franchises should be incorporated into the MCU. Its not like it is a monthly comic book that you can weave characters in and out of.You have 2 hours to do a movie that takes over a year to produce. You don't need to have cameos of every hero ineach other franchise because it would take ao much time in the movie and not be able to focus on developing the story. Plus, with the rights at different companies, a lot more movies can be in production at the same time. Disney can only focus at so much at one time and they have a pretty full schedule as it is. With Disney, Sony, and Fox all having rights, you can Avengers, XMen, FF and others going on at the same time. There are so many great stories for the individual franchises that they don't need to crross over.

My favorite thing is that everybody complains that Marvel does too many crossovers with their comics and also complaining that they are not crossing over their movies.

nope. they do not have Fantastic Four back. And they will only have Daredevil back if in the next month or so, Fox doesn't come up with a script or other solution. They do have Blade and Punisher back though

@Strider92: they didn't. not yet. They could if Fox wasn't working on a reboot. They can get Galactus or Silver Surfer back though in exchange for an extended period for Fox to work on a Daredevil reboot - basically, instead of the rights reverting to Marvel in the next month(s), Marvel lets them have one more year or two and gets immediatly the rights to Galactus/Silver Surfer but not F4. Fox won't let go of Fantastic Four, atleast for now, since they already have a director and a script writer and everything

X-Men has too large of a mythos. Heroes like Spider-man and Fantastic Four have big mythos, but have an enough of exclusivity to certain characters and plotlines that can be made into a movie.

They are, with Guardians of the Galaxy. And they'll likely won't just do characters, that'll be used in the Avengers. I'd imagen Agents of SHIELD will feature a variety of characters.

I wouldn't mind, if they'd do, a cop movie with Misty Knight.

For Spiderman they could do Scarlet Spider.... He is spiderman for the most part. =) With XForce being made they could add them instead.

Its not perfect but there are options.

I don't think Marvel could do X-Men or Spider Man at the moment since they are owned by different studios at the moment. However, I would like to see either Spider Man or Fantastic Four cross over since they seem to fit more in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that's if Marvel gets the rights back. I think for now X-Men should stay in their own universe since they have too many characters as it is, although I would love to see how Marvel portrays the X-Men.

how about no. I like that Marvel is using other staples of the Marvel U. not Spider-Mand and X-men. End of story.
