The Marvel Cinematic Universe made an excellent debut with Iron Man back in 2008 and has expanded significantly since then. The next movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, will give us a better look at this growing universe. We know the studio has plenty of big ideas for the future, too. Ultron, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange... this is just scratching the surface of what they have planned for us, and today, they're giving us a little teaser about some future projects. 5 released dates -- ranging from 2017 to 2019 -- have been released.

So, what do you think the movies will be, Viners? Thor 3? Avengers 3? Guardians of the Galaxy 2? Maybe another hero will get some spotlight... Black Widow? Black Panther? Could Hulk finally get another chance at a solo adventure? Or perhaps the Netflix characters will be brought to the big screen? Only time will tell!

As much as I love Marvel Studio movies, the fact they're teasing movies I have to wait FIVE years for really grinds my gears!

But I hope that Ms. Marvel is one of them. The NEW Ms. Marvel, not Carol.

I have a feeling 2019 is Avengers 3 (or maybe even 4).

I would love to see Carol Danvers in a Marvel movie, but I'd watch the heck out of a Kamala Khan show.

Hopefully we'll see a Black Panther movie. I hope it will be a fantasy movie with sci-fi sprinkled in it. So rarely do I encounter good African fantasy.

Fingers crossed for another Ironman trilogy.

I would love if one of these was Marvel trying to do a Superman film better than DC. Out of Hyperion, Miracleman, and the Sentry, any of their Superman-ectypes could make for a great film.

We need a Carol Danvers and Black Panther film. So hopefully two of those dates are those two. We know Dr. Strange is supposed to be getting one soon. We know there is going to be a Cap 3, Avengers 3, and Thor 3; not to mention Ant-Man.

Personally given we know Cap, Thor, and Avengers are all guaranteed sequels this is for other films. My definite hopes are for Captain Marvel and Black Panther.

Meh, I don't get the point of announcing five literally nothing more than release dates that are subject to, and likely will, change anyway. It comes off as nothing more than peacocking at DC/Warner Brothers.

I agree, but at the same time, it's really exciting. What can I say? I'm just happy we live in an era where we can actually look forward to comic book movies.

I know this will never happen, but I hope they make a new man thing movie (Yes they made one, but they literally made the hero the villain!) Although it is possible, since not only did they have him guest star on ultimate spiderman, but they referenced him on agents of s.h.i.e.l.d, and the extremis test subject in iron man 3 was his wife

So they have nothing planned for 2016? I think one of these is either a sequel to franchise or a new franchise starting. Hope we get Moon Knight some time soon.

I didn't even know Dr Strange was getting a movie... But hopefully a Black Panther which leads him into being added in avengers 3.

Dr. Strange will probably be in the already announced July 2016 slot. At least one of these just announced slots will be Avengers 3. I'm hoping Cap 4 and Black Widow 1 are two of the others. I would really like a new Punisher and Blade, but since there are zero chances that Disney will let them be rated R, I would rather see no Punisher movie get made then a PG-13 one.

Here's what I think will happen for Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Okay. Here it goes:

1) "Ant-Man" - Confirmed for 7/17/15

2) "Captain America 3" - Confirmed for 5/6/16

3) "Doctor Strange" - Likely to be confirmed for 7/8/16 at SDCC 2014

4) "Thor: Ragnarok" - Likely to be confirmed for 5/5/17 at SDCC 2014

5) "Black Panther" - Likely to be confirmed for 7/28/17 at SDCC 2014

6) "Planet Hulk" Likely to be confirmed for 11/3/17 at SDCC 2014

7) "Black Widow Solo Movie" - 5/4/18

8) "Marvel's The Inhumans" - 11/2/18

9) "Marvel's Avengers: War of Two Universes" - 5/3/19 - End of Phase 3 of MCU

Oh and for "The Avengers 3" for May 3, 2019, I hope it will be titled "Avengers: War of Two Universes" where we will see the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers team-up to battle Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet along with his minions including Ronan, Nebula, Korath, Loki, The Other, and.... wait for it.... Inhumans and Black Panther would both be good choices. The only Marvel character I can think of who deserves a movie as much as Panther is Deadpool, but he's at Fox or something.

Make sure ALL the Captain and Ms Marvels at least get a cameo.

I don't like the idea of announcing when you're releasing a movie, but not the movie that will be released. It doesn't really mean much or have much weight saying "oh I call this spot for a movie, but I don't know which movie it'll be". I mean they obviously know what might release, but they aren't sure.

Oh god its finally happening. The Howard the Duck trilogy is coming!!! xP

If one of those movies isn't Black Panther or Ms. Marvel, I'm gonna be pissed.
