Recommed to pick it up.
There is some funny interaction with Nova in this issue. My son thought it was pretty funny how Nova was trying to sweet talk some girls, but they had no time for him. They just wanted to listen to Thor tell his story of defeating the Executioner. My sons newest favorite strikes out again.
There is some questions as to the validity of Thor's tale of the Executioner and how he defeated him. So, Thor takes it upon himself to take everyone to the village of Mjolnir to find out for themselves.
There's some funny interaction here again between Thor, Nova and the young ladies. One nice thing about the Marvel Adventures title is that even tho Thor still talks like an Asgardian, it's not over the top and is still ok for a 9 year old to understand.
There's some fun pirate sequences, which a boy gets a kick out of as well. What kid doesn't like pirates?? Well, maybe just mine. Anyway, he loved this issue, will read it again and recommends it to other boys out there. Will Nova ever get the girl?
