Floyd, Iowa?
Floyd, Iowa... Hard to believe they picked that city... I don't live to far from there and I don't remember Thor, Iron Man and Captain America showing up there... lol. I also don't think there's buildings that large there. Anyway...
This was a winner from the start, not only because it had Iowa in it (which my son and I had a good chuckle about), there's action from the first page. Fireman/rescue squads/super heroes.... a good combination. My son loved it all. They are trying to rescue the people of Floyd after a massive battle that has taken place and nobody knows why. They find a body under some wreckage and find Susan Storm there... and she is PO'ed at something! She immediately turns on her rescuers and attacks them. My son got a great kick out of how Cap defeats her.
They proceed to try and find out who is behind all this. Why are people attacking each other. It's clever how all through this, they hint at being a team, but nobody comes right out and says... hey, let's be a team.
My son liked this one. Even though through the middle there is not a lot of action. He rated this one a 5/5.
