Koz's Comic Review
I went to the Library and checked out this trade, it Collects Marvel Adventures Spider-man issues 21-24. I just got done reading issue 21 and I was happy. The book is written by Fred Van Lente and the art is done by Cory Hamscher. The art work is fresh and detailed with great colors. The plot was basic, but with the title geared for all ages it has to meet a broad audience.
The plot has to do with a teenaged Spider-Man dealing with Stilt-man, Leap- Frog, and Rocket Racer. The theree of them have teamed up to do Robberies for the Tinkerer to earn cash and upgrades for there costumes. Spider-man and the Trio do Battle and escape from Spider-man. Later on Spider-man finds out that the Tinkerer can control the three boys costumes by remote control and has the biggest crime lords bidding for the technolgy while on a live feed. As Spider-man is getting his tail kicked he comes across his own costume upgrade. It is called Smart Stealth Cloth. The Black Costume is revieled.
This is a great book to read it reminds me of my teenage years, when I read Spider-man when the plot was simple with lots of action and great art work and classic villians. This book is good for the young or the young at heart. I give it a 4 out of 5!! Just enjoy.
Thanks for Reading Koz :) Happy Collecting!!!
