The Detective of the Impossible clashes with a clan of gangsters who want to hide the presence of an ancient Atlantean base located at Lake Averno . The criminals , who have been aware of it for some time and who exploit it for their own sinister purposes , are also willing to kill in order to keep the secret , and to Martin and Java there seems no escape. But an unexpected help can still come from their enemy Sergej Orloff .
