Mark Waid is an American writer, considered to be one of the most influential writers of the 1990s. His expansive works includes The Flash, JLA, and Kingdom Come for DC and Captain America for Marvel. He is currently writing Indestructible Hulk and the Eisner Award-winning Daredevil for Marvel as well as Green Hornet for Dynamite.

Current Work

With the Marvel NOW! relaunch of many Marvel titles, Mark Waid is now writing for Hulk in the Indestructible Hulk. He is also continuing to write the award-winning Daredevil, which is one of the few titles not to be cancelled and restarted with the relaunch. For Dynamite, Waid has recently started writing Green Hornet.

Past Work

Mark Waid wrote and edited many of DC's flagship titles, including Flash, Action Comics, JLA and Legion of Super-Heroes, as well as primary Marvel titles, such as X-Men, Avengers and Fantastic Four. He was also the writer of the acclaimed series, Kingdom Come. Waid helped to create the "Speed Force," which members of the Flash mantle in the DC universe rely on for speed and power. Waid is also the co-creator of Bart Allen.
