    What happens when you mix marine biology, a successful television personality, and the United States Navy in to one comic book? Well, so far you get a pretty educational comic about marine biology with some gorgeous artwork. When I say the name “Ian Churchill” a lot of today’s readers may not know the name right off the bat.   Sure, he’s worked on some issues of Hulk over at Marvel this past year and a few covers here and there, but Ian Churchill has been kind of quiet in the comic book industry...

    After a deep-sea diver's mysterious disappearance, charming undersea naturalist Steve Ocean is recruited by a secret government department to investigate.   The Good Good lord... where did Ian Churchill go to up his game this much? This transformation is more dramatic than even the one Mike Deodato went through. I've been a fan of his work since his days on Cable and this drastic, cheery re-invention of his style is vastly more appealing. It's almost like it was trapped inside him all these y...
