Her relation with Mister Sinister isn’t truly revealed or if Loran Dane was offered to Malice by Sinister himself before acting as field leader for the Marauders. The Marauders is the name of Mr. Sinister's personal strike force whom do his bidding, getting their hands dirty while he works behind the scenes. Before he became Sinister he created the first team known as the Marauders which was composed of five criminals who kidnapped homeless and deformed people for Sinister to experiment upon. Yet this team was defeated by Apocalypse who transformed them into cyborgs and one of them even became the adoptive ancestor of Cyclops (one of the mutants Sinister is most obsessed with). Many years later in World War II he met Scalphunter, his first New Marauder. Scalphunter eventually recruited his second Marauder during the Vietnam War, Sabretooth. The full team was gathered by Gambit who was in debt to Sinister. The Marauders were best known as the causers of the Morlock Massacre, a fight in which most of them died. Yet Sinister had them all cloned and so even though many of them have died numerous times, a clone has always taken their place. But after Messiah Complex, Mister Sinister and many Marauders are dead (or imprisoned) so it seems that the team may have finally met its end.
