    This is an incredible issue, even better than Man-Thing #6 - And When I Died...!, which is also a fantastic issue by the way. In this, instead of creating a statement about humankind through Man-Thing by using him as an observer of it like they usually do - and sometimes just an anthropomorphized metaphor for nature - they show a portrait of a mind of a wretched man named Brian Lazarus who has become detached from both reality and sanity.
