We've seen some pictures of actor Henry Cavill as Superman, but we haven't seen any that give us a real close-up look at the texture of the costume. The latest photo to premiere at San Diego Comic-Con does exactly that -- and it looks fantastic.

At first I hated how his suit sort of looks like chain mail.. But I'm lovin' it now. So stoked.

I've seen the low-res version of the comic-con footage and its EPIC!!! Blurry though! There's a part where he's on fire with his shirt off and totally un-phased!

Sand, you haven't seen the trailer, you just heard the voice over......................that said the voice over was epic

Saw the trailer this is what happens

The trailer starts with Clark as a child and he saved a kid from a bus sinking in the river. Martha is talking to the boy's mother and she tells her that her son saw what Clark did to save him. Then, it goes to a dialogue between Clark and Jonathan about the world fearing what they don't understand. Basically Clark questioning why he is on earth, where he comes from and his purpose the usual Superman origin. Henry Cavill sounds very convincing as Superman. Now this is where the trailer picks up. You see a view of Clark in full costume from behind and then he soars into the sky and the special effects look great. The drama and action in the last seconds of the trailer are insane. You see Clark walking out a burning building unharmed. Getting thrown to a building and it blows up, Lois, Jor-El and many other characters. Every scene is just amazing. The trailer ends when Superman is pushed into the bank vault by some kind of force and then a SWAT team stands infront of him while he ask himself if the world will ever accept him.

Dam does anyone have site where we could see the trailer.

If this movie flops, then it might be game over for DC because Marvel Studios is bringing it right now - especially since they just released their film line-up leading up to Avengers 2.

I can't believe they forgot to turn the lights on when they were shooting for this poster lol. Seriously it looks good, I'm looking forward to learning more when the trailer comes out.

Eh, it's pretty good, but kinda... basic.

I don't know, I'm still holding my breath with Man of Steel. I know it's like some kind of weird Kryptonian chainmail but he still kind of looks like a big blue basketball. I like where they went with the S shield though.

They're making Superman a man now? I hate it when movies change things.

This is why the comments of "lol dark like batman" puzzle me. It's very, very obvious who they're doing an homage to.
