The first mistake is that they are viewing Batman's world and Superman's world as different worlds. That's how they've done things since the 70's and while they have produced a few gems, the general record for DC movies is horrible. They really should take the lesson from Marvel as far as movies go.

Trailer looks great I hope they get it right. I want to see superman fight more than saving people like avenngers had 20 mins of fighting it was amazing

looks like it could easily be the best Superman adaptation we've gotten thus far.

What does Nowlan mean when he says he feels guilty because he has nothing to do with it? People are coming to this film because his name is on it.

Something tells me Nolan isn't as hands-off as he's making out to be. This dude cares about stuff that has his name on it and if the trailer is any indication, I think it's pretty obvious that he's had quite a bit of input here. This is typical Nolan playing it close to the vest until release.

Can't wait though.

I cannot wait for this either I love DC Comics as they are the underdog, seriously only one movie next year compared to Marvels four! Thor 2, Captain America 2,Wolverine 2 and Iron man 3,what is wrong with DC make more movies please DC please ! GO Underdog DC! Also i wish they put Superman's theme in this Man of Steel but maybe they don't want it to seem corny?Superman the Legend among Superheroes the one and only love you supes.

I want this movie to be a good movie but it might not be. I'm cautious.

I feel for you Nolan... Making someone fly is really heard to do on the camera and make it believable. I like the preview of it and cool.

Looking forward to it. i've been a big fan of superman since his death at the hands of doomsday.( i was probably the only guy happy he didnt stay dead)

This is Snyder's movie, Nolan knows that Snyder can make us believe that a Man can fly.

I really hope this is done well. If it is, it could raise the bar for super hero movies, even above The Avengers.

I have high hopes that this movie will bring justice to Superman

Hey what's up you? Well I think this moviel will be darker and more serious which is good since typically DC stories are more darker then Marvel ones I've noticed.

However, not so sure about DC movies being generally "worse" there have been some bad Marvel movies too Hulk, Electra, Ghost Rider, DD, FF etc.

I think the Dark Knight is by far the best DC movie ever and original Superman, this movie will be up there though I believe. Avengers is good but seemed aimed more at children imo at times.

As far as the animated world is concerned though and video games, DC owns Marvel bad...it's not even close. Between Batman AA selling ridiculous, the animated movies doing well and I'm going to wager Injustice sells way more then MVC3 did. Hell even MK sold more then MVC3 did...
