It's not cancer 0

Alan Gates is dying from cancer. If he doesn't die of multiple gunshot wounds first. Or from having his head stapled back together. Or from assassins sent to kill him with swords.The GoodCreative new origin for a super hero. While diseases have given various people various super powers over the years, it's almost always been something like Alien Plague from Planet Xhadoom or something.
