Makkari
Character » Makkari appears in 256 issues.
Makkari is an Eternal who specializes in speed.
How fast can he go?
Truely dont know but if he is the fastest being in the universe, he should be able to run at or beyond the speed of light.

If he has not increased in speed since the Runner's 'race' in Quasar, that also included various other characters (including DC's Barry Allen, under the name 'Buried Alien' ), then he could not reach light speed.
"Slightly below light speed.Makkari outran Runner. He's FTL.
He is not the fastest in Marvel, that would be the Runner, who can run at several times light-speed."
"Why don't DC and Marvel put him and Flash in another race too?"I don't think Marvel cares as much about speed as DC does.

Old Makkari vs old Quicksilver, sure he wins but the recent information Marvel published on Makkari in the the Mythological update of the Marvel handbooks indicates that Makkari's speed is once again rated at a few thousand mph (and we have not seen him exceed this in the recent Eternals comic). Quicksilver has been shown to race across entire continents inside of a hour, so he should be at least around a similar speed to that quoted for Makkari.
" @OhTru said:You're no doubt referring to to the mythological encyclopedia, where he is stated to be able to reach mach 3. But this same handbook still says Thor and Hercules can only lift up to 100 tons, so I'm not inclined to take their figures for granted." @Kyriakos said:Old Makkari vs old Quicksilver, sure he wins but the recent information Marvel published on Makkari in the the Mythological update of the Marvel handbooks indicates that Makkari's speed is once again rated at a few thousand mph (and we have not seen him exceed this in the recent Eternals comic). Yep but like I said, we have not seen Makkari display gross speed probably above mach 3 since the relaunch of the Eternals in their short lived series.
" Slightly below light speed. He is not the fastest in Marvel, that would be the Runner, who can run at several times light-speed. "i agree.... but he has other powers that would make him one of the most powerful speedsters. He is second to the runner.
