Mainframe is a member of the G.I. Joe team. Mainframe started at age 18 by joining the marines, he did the usual infantry thing, but he feeled something missing. After his 6 years he quit and went to school to major in computers. At his graduation he started with a local computer software company but life was too tame. So he re-joined the marines but now with a superior computer skill. The Joes recruited him and now they have a computer speclist who does not crack in the line of fire. G.I. Joe has been published by Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, Devil's Due and Blackthorne.
