Hey, I'm new to this website so I hope this topic goes in this forum. I thought I would start out here by asking this simple question is Magneto a Omega mutant? I've heard yes and no so I want to clear it up.

No he isn't. Just extremely powerful and versatile for an earthbound mutant though.

The Omega designation is pretty much a joke. Magneto would pummel most of the mutants given the title. It's nothing more than something thrown out there and then applied at various writers will without any real substance behind it.

This is not true. Magneto is super powerful for sure but he would not "pummel" most other Omega mutants.

Now it is true that all Omega means is potential for power and not everyone has lived up to theirs
