What energies and physical things can/should he NOT be able to manipulate?
P.S. Extra question. What dictates the color of his magnetic powers ASIDE from the artist? =p I know he can control visible light and all that good stuff, and usually it's depicted as a clear/white/blue color, but sometimes it appears as purple, red, orange, yellow, and so forth. If his powers were used in a real life setting what would they look like, if anything?
P.P.S. I know electromagnetism is one of Magneto's main things, but honestly how often does he utilize electromagnetic blasts and the like?

If the unified field theory is correct (and in Marvel at least it seems to be) then he should be able to affect everything in the universe with the possible exception of magic. Though Beast actually has a theory that magic is just manipulating already existing quantum energies. If that's the case, then Mags could even affect magic. As far as color it should be invisible unless he decides otherwise since he has control over the entire light spectrum from infrared to ultraviolet at least. And he uses em blasts all the time. Any thime he's shown hitting someone with a blast that's probably what he's doing. I have lots of scans of that sort of attack but I'll just post one early one.
